Our Pfreimd facility is situated sixty kilometers south of Regensburg in Germany. Here, we produce millions of customer-specific plastic systems in highly automated production processes, 24 by 7, around the clock. fast, cost-efficient and with reliably high quality. Established in 1956, the facility benefits from fifty years of experience in the production of medical plastic systems. The Pfreimd facility has 12,000 sqm production grounds, 8,000 sqm of which are equipped for clean-room production and 3,000 sqm are set aside for controlled areas. 91 injection molding machines with clamping forces of between 15 and 250 tons and 22 fully automatic assembly lines produce a variety of customer-specific inhalers, insulin pens, components for needle-free injection systems, lancing devices and lancets. The Pfreimd facility is equipped to cover the complete production chain from injection molding, assembly and inspection right through to clean-room packaging of medical products. The plant is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008, DIN EN ISO 13485:2003 and DIN EN ISO 14001:2004 and has a manufacturing license in accordance with the German Medicines Act and a certificate of accreditation as Overseas Manufacturer in Japan. At Pfreimd, all international production processes are initialized. The facility with its team of highly qualified staff members operates its own mold service.
