At its Wackersdorf facility, Gerresheimer Werkzeug- und Automatisierungstechnik GmbH manufactures special lines and machines for automation technology applications as well as highly complex, sophisticated injection molds with a special focus on large-scale clean-room production. The team of 80 mold makers is affiliated to the German Technical CompetenceCenter, where Gerresheimer pools its technical expertise, covering the entire product development process from initial conception right through to large-scale production by means of simultaneous engineering. Gerresheimer Werkzeug- und Automatisierungstechnik GmbH is one of the best mold engineering specialists in the German speaking region of Europe. Top marks at the renowned ”Excellence in Production” competition attest to the specialist's outstanding performance. The team of mold makers working for Gerresheimer's Medical Plastic Systems division at Wackersberg/Germany was able to distinguish itself from the competition and was voted number one in the ”Integrated Mold Maker With Less than 100 Staff Members” category. The ratings attested to an outstanding adherence to deadlines and a high degree of customer satisfaction, which moved the jury to pass a mark of excellence in customer support.
